Job Summary:

EAE USA Inc. is seeking an experienced and commercially-minded Accounting & Finance Manager to lead the company’s finance function and build a high-performing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a senior leadership role that carries full ownership of EAE USA’s financial operations, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

The Accounting & Finance Manager will serve as the key financial partner to the MD and senior leadership, ensuring the financial integrity of U.S. operations while maintaining alignment with EAE Group’s global reporting requirements and standards. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a fast-growing, international environment and is motivated by building processes and teams from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Serve as the primary financial advisor to the Managing Director, providingtimelyand actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial strategies aligned with EAE USA’s growthobjectivesand EAE Group’s global goals.
  • Drive a culture of financial discipline, accuracy, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Represent the Finance function in senior leadership meetings and in communications with the EAE Group parent company.

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Manage and own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, deliveringtimelyandaccuratefinancial statements.
  • Prepare and presentconsolidatedfinancial reports for the Managing Director and EAE Group headquarters (Istanbul,Turkey).
  • Establish andmaintainrobust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Coordinate and lead external audits, liaising withauditorsand ensuring all requirements are met efficiently.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning

  • Lead the annual budgeting and planning process in collaboration with the MD and department heads.
  • Develop rolling financial forecasts and variance analyses, providing clear commentary on business performance.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and KPIs, proactivelyidentifyingrisks and opportunities for the business.
  • Support capex planning and investment appraisals as EAE USA continues to expand its U.S. footprint.

Accounting Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll accounting, and cash management functions.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations with EAE Group entities globally.
  • Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax obligations including corporate tax, sales tax, and payroll tax.
  • Liaise with external tax advisors to manage U.S. tax filings andoptimizethe company’s tax position.
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory and statutory requirements.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, manage, mentor, and develop the EAE USA accounting team, including direct oversight of theAccountantrole.
  • Set clear performanceobjectivesfor the team and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-accountabilityteamculture, supporting professional growth and development.
  • Build scalable processes and team structures to support EAE USA’s continued growth.

Systems, Process & Operational Finance

  • Lead or support the implementation and optimization of ERP and financial systems (SAP preferred).
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and reporting speed.
  • Oversee inventory accounting and ensureaccuratecost reporting in coordination with the operations team.
  • Support pricing, margin analysis, and commercial finance activities in partnership with the sales team.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Technical Skills

  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
  • Proficiencyin ERP systems, with SAP experiencestronglypreferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with financial modeling and management reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with intercompany accounting, transfer pricing concepts, and multi-currency reporting isadvantageous.

Leadership & Interpersonal Skills

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire a finance team.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to the MD and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance hands-on execution with big-picture financial planning.

Education and Experience:

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, ora relatedfield (required).
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designationstronglypreferred.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum 7–10 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing a finance team and driving financial performance in a commercial environment.
  • Backgroundin manufacturing, distribution, engineering, or industrial productsisstrongly preferred.
  • Prior experience working within an international subsidiary or reporting to a global parent company is highly desirable.
  • Experienceestablishingor scaling a finance function within a start-up or early-stage subsidiary.
  • Familiarity with import/export accounting, customs duties, and cross-border transactions.
  • Experience with cost accounting and inventory management in a distribution or light manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing external audits, tax filings, and compliance in a U.S. corporate environment.
