Staff Accountant – Suwanee, GA
Job SummaryThe Staff Accountant is responsible for the daily operations of the company’s financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance in bookkeeping, general ledger management, cash flow monitoring, and financial reporting. The role supports payroll, reconciliations, fixed assets, and year-end activities, contributing to the company’s financial integrity and operational success.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable and accounts receivable, including billing
Collaborate with Payroll Coordinator on employee timesheets and payroll
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate general ledger
Monitor cash flow and prepare financial reports and forecasts
Account for fixed assets, depreciation, prepaids, and accruals
Prepare annual 1099s and assist with other year-end accounting tasks
Ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial activities
Support ad hoc financial analysis as needed
2+ years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to work full-time Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM–11:30 AM
Occasional evenings and weekends may be required
