- Advise clients on federal and state clean energy tax incentives, including Investment Tax Credits (ITC), Production Tax Credits (PTC), and additional incentive programs related to energy communities, prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements, domestic content, and low-income community initiatives.
- Evaluate project eligibility across a wide range of clean energy technologies, including solar, wind, battery storage, hydrogen, carbon capture, geothermal, biomass, and fuel cells.
- Provide strategic guidance on tax credit optimization, monetization, transferability, and direct pay opportunities to maximize client benefits.
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
- Prepare and review tax credit calculations, supporting documentation, financial models, and technical workpapers with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor regulatory developments and legislative updates related to clean energy incentives and sustainability tax provisions.
- Mentor and support junior team members through training, feedback, and ongoing professional development.
- Maintain strong client relationships by gathering required information, communicating project updates, and delivering exceptional advisory support.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, tax advisory, energy consulting, or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of IRC Sections 45, 48, and other clean energy tax credit provisions.
- Experience working with renewable energy and sustainability-related tax incentive programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience handling financial models, calculations, and analytical tools.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a remote setting.
- Leadership abilities with experience mentoring or guiding junior professionals preferred.
