The purpose of this Trainer position is to work closely with our department’s leadership team to identify training needs and will develop and maintain consistent and up-to-date training materials and tools for our staff. Responsible for ongoing training. The trainer is also responsible for ensuring that all new hires are trained and evaluated for proficiency as well as compliance with the certification process, to ensure competency. The Trainer will partner with the Quality Assurance team, Member Services Systems Coordinator and other partners to address operational changes to the Fund and provide refresher training, as needed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
- Partners with department leadership to identify opportunities for refresher training, program and project training
- Partner with QA to track and trend QA performance and trends to identify training gaps and areas for operational improvement
- Analyzes training needs, creates and delivers training programs
- Maintains existing database (BLC) for the tracking, reporting, and analyzing of the program
- Designs and delivers multi-media training programs to suit various audiences, including procedure manuals and guides in addition to handouts and visual materials for quick reference
- Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, lectures, etc.
- Sets goals and achieve measurable results
- Contributes ideas to plans and achieving department goals

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Years of Experience and Knowledge
- 5 ~ 7 years of direct experience minimum
- Working knowledge and experience in analyzing training needs, creating and delivering training programs (e.g. On-the-Job, Classroom, Videoconference, etc.), and measuring corresponding ROI
- Experience working in a customer service environment preferably in the healthcare delivery or medical insurance industry
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (LMS) using a variety of training tools, techniques, and technology to promote trainee retention
Education, Licenses, and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare or related field or equivalent work experience required
- Preferred: Certification in Corporate Training
Skills and Abilities
- Advanced level Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Intermediate level Microsoft Excel skills
- Intermediate level system(s) skills in Captivate or similar software
- Advanced level skills in Member Services systems (HRTLink, BIT, Pulse/Connect, etc.)
- Preferred fluency (speak and write) in Spanish
- 25% ~ 50% travel

Salary range for this position: Hourly $25.6923 - $31.4358. Actual hourly rate may vary based upon, but not limited to: relevant experience, qualifications, expertise, certifications, licenses, education or equivalent work experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Work Schedule (may vary to meet business needs): Monday~Friday, 7.5 hours per day (37.5 hours per week) as a hybrid work-from-home arrangement.
