Position Summary

Responsible for designing, delivering, and managing training programs that support operational excellence across multiple departments. This role is responsible for overseeing the Wise Tail learning platform, developing engaging and effective training content, and ensuring that all team members are equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in their roles. The Learning Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate department-specific processes and tools into the learning ecosystem. Additionally, this role will develop structured career paths to support internal growth into leadership roles within the organization. Ensures that Quest vision, values and founding principles are effectively modeled, communicated , understood, and practiced.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage theWise Taillearning management system (LMS), including user access, content uploads, reporting, and platform optimization.
  • Monitor engagement andcompletionmetrics to ensure training effectiveness and compliance.
  • Design and deliver training modules that incorporate department-specific tools and workflows.
  • Utilizea variety of instructional methods including e-learning, video, live webinars, and in-person sessions.
  • Analyze, communicate, anddisseminatevarious status level reportingregardingmenu planning software compliance.
  • Partner with department heads to ensure training content isaccurate, up-to-date, and aligned with business goals.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in adult learning and instructional design.

Job Requirements/Specifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree inEducation, Instructional Design,Businessor any field with equivalent work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the food service and hospitality industryin multiunit environments.
  • 2+yearsexperienceintraining, instructional design, or learning and development.
  • Experience with LMS platforms.
  • Strong projectmanagement and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Requiresflexiblehours at times andup to20%travelwithin the Midwest
