Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal, Technical Partnerships based in United States.
This is a senior, high-impact role focused on building and scaling strategic technical partnerships that extend the reach and capabilities of a leading enterprise security platform. You will own relationships with key security, compliance, and IT ecosystem partners, shaping how joint solutions are designed, integrated, and brought to market. The role blends deep technical understanding with executive-level partnership management, requiring you to operate comfortably across product, engineering, and go-to-market teams. You will define shared value propositions, oversee integration delivery, and ensure partnerships translate into real, measurable customer adoption. Acting as the connective tissue between organizations, you will guide initiatives from early scoping through integration and commercial launch. This is a highly cross-functional role where strategic thinking, technical fluency, and execution speed directly influence ecosystem growth and product differentiation.
- Lead the end-to-end development of strategic technical partnerships with security, compliance, and IT vendors, from initial alignment through integration and launch.
- Build and maintain strong executive, product, and engineering relationships with partner organizations while coordinating internal alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and leadership teams.
- Define joint product value propositions, solution narratives, and success metrics, ensuring clear alignment on outcomes and measurable impact.
- Drive integration scoping, technical evaluation, and delivery coordination with partner engineering teams to ensure successful, customer-ready solutions.
- Oversee partnership execution frameworks, including launch plans, co-marketing initiatives, and structured operational success criteria.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to support go-to-market execution, then transition ownership to commercial teams post-integration while maintaining strategic oversight.
- Monitor partnership health, performance, and pipeline impact, reporting insights, risks, and opportunities to executive leadership.
- 7–10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, technical alliances, business development, or similar roles within security, compliance, or IT ecosystems.
- Strong technical fluency with the ability to evaluate APIs, integration feasibility, and system architecture without heavy translation layers.
- Deep familiarity with cybersecurity and compliance landscapes, including SIEM, EDR, CASB, DLP, GRC, or adjacent domains.
- Proven ability to operate cross-functionally across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams in complex organizations.
- Experience in or strong exposure to roles such as solutions architect, technical product manager, or engineering manager is highly valued.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively from technical teams to C-level executives.
- High-agency, execution-oriented mindset with the ability to move quickly, make trade-offs, and drive outcomes in ambiguous environments.
- Demonstrated ability to build partnerships that result in real product adoption and measurable customer impact.
- Fully remote work model with global flexibility
- Competitive compensation package
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits
- 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
- Unlimited paid time off policy
- Professional development and learning budget
- Company-provided laptop (Mac or PC choice)
- Opportunity to shape high-impact technical ecosystems in a fast-growing SaaS environment
- Collaborative culture focused on innovation, autonomy, and continuous improvement
