This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP - Admissions (HS) based in the United States.
The VP of Admissions will provide strategic leadership for admissions and enrollment growth across existing campus operations.
This executive-level role will drive market demand, student recruitment, conversion, and revenue opportunities across targeted markets.
You will lead and develop a high-performing Admissions team while building a culture centered on metrics, customer experience, and continuous improvement.
The role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to identify market opportunities, improve enrollment processes, and strengthen organizational performance.
You will also serve as a senior escalation point for enrollment-related issues and act as a voice of the customer in strategic decisions.
Success will require strong commercial judgment, analytical thinking, relationship management, and the ability to translate market insights into measurable growth.

- Lead the strategic direction of Admissions and Enrollment Services, owning market demand, student recruitment, conversion, satisfaction, and growth objectives across existing campus operations.
- Develop and execute market-specific strategies designed to create demand, increase conversion, strengthen market share, and generate new enrollment opportunities.
- Provide executive-level leadership and guidance to the Admissions organization while advising senior leadership on customer, market, and growth priorities.
- Manage day-to-day departmental operations, ensuring adherence to established processes, performance metrics, quality standards, and annual operating plan objectives.
- Recruit, hire, train, develop, evaluate, and coach a high-performing Admissions team focused on student demand, conversion, and revenue generation.
- Establish a metrics-driven, customer-focused culture that aligns admissions performance with broader organizational priorities and continuously improves team effectiveness.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for customer questions, issues, and concerns within Enrollment Services, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Partner with Operations and other leadership stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, redesign enrollment workflows, and successfully implement new programs and initiatives.
- Represent the customer perspective in strategic discussions involving technology, products, systems, and enrollment platforms, recommending enhancements where appropriate.
- Work closely with campus teams and local leaders to identify market opportunities, define effective recruitment approaches, and support overall campus performance.
- Develop and maintain growth-related reports, dashboards, and internal data resources, providing leadership with actionable insights into enrollment performance and market trends.
- Collaborate with leadership to prioritize market objectives and initiatives that increase demand, strengthen market presence, and funnel qualified students toward existing campuses.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources in alignment with the annual operating plan.
- Maintain strong communication and coordination across teams while adapting priorities and approaches to changing business needs.
- Travel up to 50% or as required by business needs and remain available for occasional nights, weekends, or holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or another relevant discipline, or at least 5 years of relevant industry experience including 3 years in an upper-management position.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of industry principles, procedures, practices, and enrollment or admissions operations.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams responsible for student recruitment, admissions, demand generation, conversion, or related growth functions.
- Proven ability to build, develop, coach, and manage high-performing teams while maintaining accountability and a positive working environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to use performance data and market insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong telephone and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to represent the organization professionally when interacting with students, employees, leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with campus teams, executives, operational leaders, and other internal partners.
- Experience using school systems, databases, reporting tools, and other technology platforms to manage admissions and enrollment activities.
- Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace and the ability to use data and technology effectively to support business objectives.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated, persistent, adaptable, and collaborative, with a mature and positive approach to leadership and problem-solving.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a highly structured and regulated organization.
- Flexibility to work remotely in states where the organization is licensed or approved to conduct business.
