This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior HR Advisor based in Canada.

As a Senior HR Advisor, you will play a key role in delivering responsive and reliable HR support across the employee lifecycle.
You will serve as a first point of contact for employees and managers across Canada and the United States, helping resolve HR questions and requests efficiently.
The role combines employee support, HR systems administration, data management, and process improvement.
You will work with platforms such as Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, and internal HR service tools to maintain accurate and timely information.
Your work will contribute directly to a smooth, consistent, and positive employee experience.
You will collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and other HR teams in a fully remote environment.
This is an opportunity to strengthen HR operations while contributing ideas for smarter, more efficient ways of working.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide responsive first-line HR support throughout the employee lifecycle in Canada and the United States, from pre-hire through post-termination, resolving requests or escalating them to the appropriate team when required.
  • Support onboarding activities for new employees, including orientation coordination, follow-up, and resolution of onboarding-related questions.
  • Assist employees and managers with day-to-day HR systems and service requests, including Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, payroll-related support, and the internal HR ticketing system.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR system information is updated promptly and consistently, supporting strong data integrity.
  • Respond to employee, manager, and HR team inquiries through multiple communication channels with clear, professional, thoughtful, and timely guidance.
  • Support HR audits, reporting requests, data reviews, and other operational activities while identifying opportunities to improve processes and the employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and other HR functions to ensure effective resolution of employee needs.
  • Identify opportunities to use new technologies, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and the quality of daily HR service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of professional HR experience, preferably in an HR services, HR operations, shared services, or employee-support environment.
  • Experience supporting employees located in both the United States and Canada, with an understanding of the needs of a geographically distributed workforce.
  • Familiarity with HR information systems and a willingness to develop expertise in platforms such as Workday and Ceridian Dayforce.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to quickly learn new HR tools and technologies.
  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a U.S. time-zone schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees and managers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate, confidential, and reliable employee information.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests effectively.
  • A proactive mindset and genuine interest in applying automation, AI, and emerging tools to improve HR processes and employee experiences.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary of CAD $55,000–$65,000, depending on skills, experience, education, location, and internal equity.
  • Fully remote working opportunity within Canada.
  • Opportunities for career development and personalized, growth-oriented learning.
  • Purpose-driven work contributing to meaningful outcomes and a positive employee experience.
  • A collaborative, values-driven environment focused on innovation, service, and continuous improvement.
  • Exposure to HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools and processes.
  • Opportunity to collaborate across multiple HR functions, including Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Business Partners.
  • Additional local benefits may be available depending on the position and location.
