NURSE PRACTITIONER/PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT-CONVENIENT CARE

We are looking to add an Advanced Practice Provider to our Convenient Care Team! The Advanced Practitioner plays a key role in providing the highest quality of patient care while the patient is at our Downtown or Eastside location. Our providers deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on the acute needs of our patients. Nurse Practitioner/PA job details:


Position Details:

  • Full time
  • 40 or 36 hours per week
  • Clinics open 7 days per week 8:00am – 8:00pm
  • Weekend rotations

Primary role is:
Providing care to patients at one of our Convenient Care locations.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Completes the routine physical assessment using common assessment skills in a systematic manner.
  • Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and healthcare needs.
  • Records physical findings, formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition.
  • Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of physician.
  • Respects patients' rights, including the right to inform, privacy, confidentiality, and the right to refuse care.
  • Assists with patient education to promote self-care and patient independence.
  • Follows company policies and procedures and department protocols.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience preferred, ideally in primary care or ER setting
  • Graduate from an accredited MSN or PA program
  • Must have Indiana RN license.
  • Must have active APRN or PA/CSR license
  • AANP, ANCC or PA certification


License/Certification:

  • BLS certification
