This role blends clinical dental expertise, technical product knowledge, and solution-driven sales execution within the intra-oral scanning (IOS) space. The specialist acts as a key field-facing expert, demonstrating digital imaging workflows and supporting clinicians and distributor partners in adopting advanced IOS technologies. Operating in a highly dynamic, customer-facing environment, the role focuses on driving territory growth through education, demonstrations, and relationship-building. It requires close collaboration with field sales teams to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and close deals in a competitive, fast-evolving market. Beyond sales execution, the position serves as a trusted advisor, helping customers integrate scanning solutions into real clinical workflows. It is an ideal opportunity for a driven professional passionate about dental innovation, digital dentistry, and impactful customer engagement.

Accountabilities:
  • Drive territory sales performance by achieving and exceeding assigned quotas through consultative solution selling of intra-oral scanning products.
  • Conduct product demonstrations (in-person and virtual) for clinicians, clinical staff, and distributor partners to support adoption and close opportunities.
  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline, leveraging CRM tools to track opportunities, forecast performance, and identify growth areas.
  • Partner closely with field sales teams and distributors to generate leads, support co-travel activities, trade shows, and customer education events.
  • Analyze territory trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and improve market penetration.
  • Support account management activities, including customer issue triage, pilot programs, RFPs, and time-sensitive deal closure efforts.
  • Maintain deep product and workflow expertise, ensuring effective communication of IOS solutions and clinical value to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience in dental or medical sales environments.
  • 2+ years of experience in digital dental sales, ideally with exposure to intra-oral scanning technologies and clinical workflows.
  • Strong understanding of dental industry products, imaging systems, software solutions, and clinical application use cases.
  • Proven ability to conduct engaging product demonstrations and influence clinical and commercial decision-makers.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently while contributing to team-based sales goals.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% across the assigned territory.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based bonus potential (estimated range: $104,200 – $127,400).
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Performance incentives tied to individual and territory sales achievement.
  • Travel opportunities across a dynamic, field-based commercial environment.
  • Professional development exposure in digital dentistry and advanced imaging technologies.
  • Inclusive workplace with equal opportunity employment practices.
