No nights. No weekends. No holidays.

RenalCare Associates is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Ottawa clinic. This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys being actively involved in patient care, using their nursing knowledge and developing ongoing relationships with patients managing chronic health conditions.
What You'll Do
Our Clinic RNs are an important connection between our patients and physicians. You'll help coordinate care, answer clinical questions, provide education and make sure patients receive the follow-up they need.
Responsibilities include:
- Triage patient calls and assess symptoms, concerns and clinical needs
- Coordinate physician orders, medications, testing, referrals and follow-up care
- Review clinical information and communicate relevant concerns to providers
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatment plans and ongoing care
- Communicate with physicians, patients and other members of the clinical team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Help patients navigate their ongoing care and ensure appropriate follow-through

Requirements:You should have:
- A current Registered Nurse license
- Previous professional nursing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to manage changing priorities in a busy clinical environment
- Good clinical judgment and the confidence to recognize when a patient concern needs to be escalated
- A dependable, team-oriented approach to patient care
Experience in nephrology is helpful, but not required. Nurses with backgrounds in med-surg, critical care, cardiology, primary care, specialty clinics, triage, care coordination or other clinical environments may also be well suited for this position.
