JOB OVERVIEW
The Senior Product Manager - Noodles, within the Sales organization, is responsible for developing and executing the product and commercial strategy for the ARIH Modern Noodles portfolio. This role owns product-line planning across positioning, assortment, innovation, pricing, go-to-market priorities, and lifecycle performance, while partnering closely with Sales to translate category and consumer insights into customer-ready growth plans.
The Senior Product Manager will work cross-functionally with the EVP of Sales, Regional Sales Managers, Trade Marketing, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and other business partners to drive profitable growth, distribution, and velocity.
This is a fulltime, exempt position, fully on-site based at our Irvine, CA office.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product & Commercial Strategy
- Develop and execute the overall product and commercial strategy for the ARIH Modern Noodles portfolio in alignment with company and Sales objectives.
- Own strategic planning and execution for the noodle product line, including portfolio direction, product positioning, assortment, innovation priorities, pricing strategy, go-to-market plans, and product lifecycle management.
- Track and drive product-line performance against revenue, distribution, velocity, margin, and profitability objectives, recommending actions to improve results.
- Analyze category, consumer, competitive, retailer, and market trends to identify growth opportunities, portfolio gaps, and product priorities.
Sales & Customer Partnership
- Partner with Sales to develop customer-specific product stories, selling strategies, presentations, and recommendations for national and regional retailers.
- Partner with Regional Sales Managers and account teams to translate noodle product priorities into customer and regional execution plans.
- Support brokers and distributors with product strategy, assortment recommendations, item setup, launch materials, and execution priorities.
Cross-Functional Planning & Execution
- Lead cross-functional product initiatives from strategy through execution, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
- Develop annual product plans, launch roadmaps, sales forecasts, promotional recommendations, and distribution priorities in partnership with Sales and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Commercial Operations, Supply Chain, and Distribution on pricing, inventory, forecasting, item setup, and execution issues affecting the noodle portfolio.
- Participate in forecasting, S&OP, inventory planning, new product commercialization, and launch readiness to ensure effective execution.
Product Positioning & Go-to-Market
- Lead product positioning, assortment strategy, packaging recommendations, innovation briefs, and customer-facing product materials for the noodle portfolio.
- Partner with Trade Marketing and Marketing to develop launch plans, retailer programs, sampling, merchandising, and other go-to-market initiatives.
Performance Analysis & Growth
- Monitor competitive activity, pricing, assortment, category trends, consumer insights, and emerging brands, and translate findings into product-line recommendations.
- Review POS, distributor, and other performance data to evaluate product results and develop action plans to improve velocity, distribution, and profitability.
- Maintain a prioritized pipeline of product and commercial growth opportunities and provide regular updates and recommendations to Sales leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 7+ years of CPG product management, category management, brand management, commercial strategy, or sales experience, preferably within food, noodles, Asian foods, center store, or premium grocery.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing product, portfolio, category, or go-to-market strategies in a CPG environment.
- Experience working closely with Sales and translating product and category insights into retailer- and customer-facing plans strongly preferred.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects involving Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, brokers, distributors, and/or retail customers.
- Strong understanding of pricing, retailer economics, promotional programs, trade spending, assortment, and category performance.

- Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings, market visits, trade shows, and business needs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position and operate office equipment for a prolonged period.
- Physical activities include, but are not limited to, constant manual dexterity, moving about the work site, and/or handling objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to work a schedule that supports business operations, including occasional weekends, holidays, and hours outside of the normal work schedule, as needed.
- Must be able to travel as business necessitates (up to 30% travel)
- Must be able to handle multiple deadlines, shifting priorities, and time-sensitive issues.
- Requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

The pay range for this role is:
110,000 - 140,000 USD per year(HYH America - Irvine)
