This is a rare opportunity for a newly licensed attorney who wants to build genuine litigation, probate, and client-facing skills while making a tangible difference in the lives of Georgia families — from day one.

Base Salary of $80,000 (with growth pathway OTE $105,000)

Compensation:

$80,000 Base Salary


Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney, you'll work alongside experienced attorneys handling probate, guardianship, conservatorship, and estate administration matters. You'll gradually take ownership of cases while receiving training, coaching, and support from our legal team.

From your first day, you'll have the opportunity to interact with clients, attend hearings, participate in strategy discussions, and build the skills necessary to become a confident, successful attorney.

What You'll Do:

  • Gradually assuming responsibility for a caseload of contested and complex Probate and Guardianship, Conservatorship cases.
  • Conducting client consultations and strategy meetings.
  • Building trusted relationships with clients through clear communication, empathy, and responsiveness.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and filing probate pleadings, petitions, motions, and related legal documents.
  • Conducting legal research and developing case strategies.
  • Representing clients in hearings, mediations, and litigation when necessary.
  • Overseeing case progression to ensure matters move efficiently and deadlines are met.
  • Collaborating with legal assistants and paralegals to provide an exceptional client experience.
  • Assisting with accounts receivable collections and client account management as needed.
  • Providing proactive updates and guidance to clients throughout their legal journey.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Georgia Bar.
