Electro-Polisher Operator
Company: Alloy Products Corp. (APC)
Location: Waukesha, WI
Hours: 6-2:30pm or 7-3:30pm
Pay range: $22 to $23 per hour

Alloy Products Corp. is looking for an Electro-Polisher Operator to join our production team in Waukesha, WI. This hands-on manufacturing role uses acid chemicals and electrical current to give sheet metal parts a mirror-like, polished finish. It's a physical job that requires strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and comfort working with chemicals while wearing appropriate PPE.

What You'll Do
Electro-Polishing Process
- Receive job assignments from your Supervisor, Manager, or Team Lead
- Review engineering drawings and work instructions to confirm the correct parts and quality standards
- Prep parts and dip them in acid chemicals, applying electrical current until the desired finish is achieved
- Electro-polish parts according to routing specifications
- Inspect parts for defects, scratches, and imperfections both before and after the electro-polishing process
- Operate machinery, tools, and production equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a neat, organized, and safe workstation at all times
- Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures, including proper PPE use and safe handling of chemicals and materials
- Communicate promptly with Supervisors, Managers, or Team Lead about any issues or concerns
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
- General manufacturing experience; sheet metal background a plus
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Strong focus on product quality and attention to detail
- Willingness to work with acid chemicals while wearing proper PPE
- Ability to operate machinery and production equipment
- Comfortable with the physical demands of the role
