DAY OR EVENING SHIFT AVAILABLE.....8 HOUR SHIFTS

About the Role:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings across the United States. This position focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity while supporting the nursing staff. CNAs are responsible for monitoring patients' health status, reporting changes to the nursing team, and providing emotional support to patients and their families. The role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Ultimately, the CNA contributes significantly to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting such as hospitals, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
  • Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Measure and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately.
  • Help patients move safely, including transferring them between beds, wheelchairs, and other locations.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Support patients emotionally by providing companionship and responding to their needs with empathy and respect.
  • Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as directed.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies at all times.
