Position Summary
Join the team behind the energy of Chinook Winds Casino Resort! As a Food Court Attendant, you'll play an essential role in creating memorable guest experiences by preparing fresh, high-quality food and providing exceptional service in our fast-paced food court outlets, including C’ Dubs Subs and La Bahia Mexican. You'll prepare made-to-order menu items, accurately process guest orders through the Point of Sale (POS) system, maintain food safety and sanitation standards, and ensure each guest receives prompt, friendly, and efficient service. Every shift offers the opportunity to connect with guests, support outlet operations, and be part of a team dedicated to delivering outstanding hospitality.
Essential Functions
- Deliver exceptional, high-energy guest service by creating a welcoming, engaging, and memorable experience for every guest.
- Greet guests, answer questions, provide menu information, and assist guests in selecting food and beverage items.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems to accurately process cash, credit card, coupon, comp slip, and other approved payment transactions.
- Prepare made-to-order food items for C'Dubs Subs and La Bahia Mexican according to standardized recipes, portion guidelines, guest specifications, and presentation standards while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation areas, service counters, equipment, utensils, dishes, storage areas, and surrounding workspaces throughout each shift.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements while preparing, handling, storing, and serving food products.
- Properly label, rotate, store, and stock food products, beverages, paper goods, condiments, and supplies to ensure product quality and minimize waste.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly notify leadership when supplies are running low or equipment is not operating properly.
- Assists cooks and kitchen staff, and fellow team members with food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and other operational duties as needed to ensure efficient service.
- Receive, inspect, and properly store food products, equipment, utensils, and supplies in accordance with food safety standards.
- Accurately calculate guest totals, make change, balance cash drawers, and prepare end-of-shift cash receipts while maintaining accountability for assigned funds.
- Maintain compliance with all health department regulations, food safety standards, and Chinook Winds Casino Resort policies and procedures.
- Performs all duties in accordance with Chinook Winds Casino Resort guest service standards and all applicable policies and procedures.
- Performs general upkeep of assigned work areas to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment..
- Identify and report unsafe, hazardous, or irregular conditions to leadership in a timely manner.
- Contribute ideas to improve service, operational efficiency, and the overall guest experience.
- All other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications

Education
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
- One year of experience as host/hostess in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or casino preferred.
- Previous high-volume restaurant or hospitality experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred.
Certificates & Licenses
- Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License.
- Must have a Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of start date.
- Must obtain VIP (Visibly Intoxicated Person) Permit within 45 days of the start date.

Work will take place in a lively, fast-paced gaming environment with multiple distractions where guest interaction is constant and service volumes are high. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud with frequent movement. The environment is subject to smoke and the associated effects.
Working Conditions
Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
