The Principal Technical Talent Advisor will own high-impact technical recruiting initiatives while acting as a strategic partner to engineering and product leadership teams. This role requires a balance of hands-on execution, talent strategy development, and organizational influence.
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor to senior engineering and product leaders, aligning recruitment priorities with business objectives and workforce planning strategies.
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for complex and high-priority technical roles, including software engineers, machine learning engineers, technical program managers, and engineering leaders.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies using market intelligence, talent analytics, and industry insights to identify and attract exceptional candidates.
- Coach hiring managers and leadership teams on talent market trends, hiring approaches, interview design, and candidate assessment practices.
- Build scalable recruiting programs and processes that improve technical hiring quality, consistency, and efficiency.
- Design structured interview frameworks and candidate experiences that promote fair, effective, and inclusive hiring decisions.
- Mentor recruiting peers and contribute to the development of talent acquisition best practices across teams.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including HR, compensation, finance, operations, and talent acquisition teams to deliver successful hiring outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools, recruiting technology, and data-driven approaches to improve sourcing, evaluation, and workforce insights.
- Manage complex negotiations and executive-level closing strategies, including compensation and equity discussions.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in technical recruiting, strong business judgment, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-moving technology environment.
- Extensive full-cycle technical recruiting experience focused on software engineering, AI/ML, technical program management, and engineering leadership roles within technology or technology-adjacent organizations.
- Proven experience partnering with VP-level executives, senior business leaders, HR teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of modern technical talent markets, sourcing strategies, candidate engagement, and competitive hiring practices.
- Demonstrated success designing and executing strategic recruiting initiatives at regional, global, or organizational levels.
- Experience mentoring recruiters and leading collaborative talent acquisition programs.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to navigate complex hiring decisions.
- Ability to operate independently in a remote, fast-paced, and ambiguous environment.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including experience with talent intelligence, market mapping, recruiting metrics, and data-driven decision-making.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management tools, and AI-enabled recruiting technologies.
- Experience hiring technical talent across North America and Latin America is preferred.
- Experience contributing to global recruiting programs or large-scale talent initiatives is a plus.
