Job Summary

Join our dedicated laboratory team and make a meaningful impact on patient care every day. Under the general direction of the Associate Client Services Manager and Phlebotomy Supervisor, the Phlebotomist/CLA plays a vital role in collecting high-quality blood specimens and ensuring accurate laboratory processing.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing blood draws on patients of all ages and entering laboratory requisitions into the Laboratory Information System with precision and attention to detail.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for patients
  • Accurately register patients and enter orders into the Laboratory Information System (LIS)
  • Process, label, and accession specimens for clinical testing
  • Verify and manage requisitions and specimen documentation
  • Maintain proper specimen handling, storage, and transport protocols
  • Support overall laboratory workflow in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Travel to other locations as needed to support departmental coverage
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety, and infection control standards
What We’re Looking For Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Previous laboratory experience and computer/data entry experience preferred
Licensure/Certification
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred
