This role offers the opportunity to support impactful community-focused research initiatives designed to improve the health and well-being of children, youth, and families. As a Human Research Technologist, you will help build meaningful connections between research teams, community organizations, and diverse populations. You will contribute to outreach strategies, participant recruitment, data collection, and engagement activities that strengthen research partnerships. The position combines community relations, research coordination, and administrative support within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment. You will work closely with investigators, community partners, volunteers, and participants to ensure culturally responsive and effective research efforts. - Develop and maintain relationships with family, youth, and community-serving organizations to support outreach and engagement initiatives.
- Represent research programs at community events by sharing information, building connections, and supporting participant recruitment efforts.
- Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment strategies for research projects.
- Support research activities through participant coordination, data collection, documentation, and administrative tasks.
- Track outreach activities, recruitment progress, engagement efforts, and partnership outcomes to measure impact.
- Train and support volunteers and students involved in outreach, recruitment, and data collection activities.
- Participate in team meetings, provide project updates, and collaborate with research staff and community partners.
- Maintain and monitor website and social media engagement related to community initiatives.
- Assist research investigators with protocol development and occasional data collection activities.
- Collaborate with community relations leadership to strengthen partnerships and improve engagement strategies.
- Manage responsibilities independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support community events and participant availability.
- Associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with communities, outreach programs, research projects, or participant engagement initiatives is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams, for communication, documentation, and data tracking.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research-focused environment.
- Strong commitment to culturally sensitive community engagement and relationship building.
- Bilingual English and Spanish skills are strongly preferred due to the diverse communities served.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to complete required background checks and clearances.
- Competitive salary range of $36,888 - $53,532 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
