Why This Role Stands Out:

  • Gain broad exposure to a global accounting environment, including multi-entity, multi-currency, inventory, fixed assets, reconciling multiple bank accounts, and cost-related accounting.
  • Work closely with experienced accounting team members who value accuracy, curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to meaningful close, reporting, and operational accounting processes in a collaborative hybrid environment.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this role will support month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliation, and key operational accounting areas.

We are looking for an early-career accountant who is eager to learn. Experience with reconciliations, Excel, and month end close is valuable, but curiosity, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are most important. This is a deadline-driven role, where accuracy, follow-through, and timely completion of assigned work are critical.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, organized, and comfortable asking thoughtful questions while learning RealD’s business. Over time, this person will support key areas of the close process, prepare reconciliations, including bank accounts and schedules, assist with accounting support for operational teams, and help improve documentation and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and currencies, investigate reconciling items, and ensure timely resolution of outstanding activity.
  • Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules with appropriate review and guidance.
  • Support fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation review, and maintaining clean supporting documentation.
  • Assist with inventory-related accounting, including reconciliations, variance review, and coordination with Operations and Manufacturing to understand activity and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with accounting for key balance sheet areas, including fixed assets, inventory, and other assigned accounts.
  • Partner with the Accounting Manager and Senior Accountant to research variances, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate reporting.
  • Provide accounting support to internal teams, including Operations and Manufacturing, by helping explain activity, gather support, and maintain clean documentation.
  • Prepare schedules and documentation to support audits, reporting requests, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen documentation, and make recurring work more efficient.
  • Take on additional accounting projects as experience and business needs evolve.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year (depending on experience)
  • Discretionary bonus opportunity
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Vacation and Sick
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
