Machine Operator / Production Floater in Mason City, Iowa at Metalcraft Inc

Join Metalcraft’s Metal Team in a clean, air conditioned manufacturing facility.

This first shift position will train in other production areas and provide support where needed.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.

Air Conditioned Facility: Work in a clean, temperature controlled environment, even during the hottest days of summer.

Training and Growth: Learn multiple production processes and build new skills.

• Prepare, position, and inspect materials.
• Operate production equipment and hand tools after training.
• Check finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Complete basic equipment cleaning and routine maintenance.
• Train in additional areas such as punch presses, hand operations, packaging, and shearing.
• Provide support in other trained areas based on production needs.

• Dependable and willing to learn.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable working with machinery and hand tools.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Previous manufacturing or machinery experience is helpful but not required.
