  • 6–8 years of legal experience, including at least 4 years working in-house within a startup, high-growth technology company, or scaling organization.
  • Strong experience negotiating commercial contracts, particularly customer-facing sales agreements and vendor or procurement contracts.
  • Previous experience supporting SaaS businesses or technology companies, with familiarity with SaaS agreements, data protection requirements, and enterprise customer negotiations.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a lean legal environment where building processes and taking initiative are essential.
  • Strong commercial mindset with the ability to balance legal risk, business priorities, and customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and create practical documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, transactions, and strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with sales teams and cross-functional partners while maintaining a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working in an async-first, remote environment that requires independence, adaptability, and proactive communication.
  • Experience with legal technology, contract lifecycle management (CLM), AI tools, privacy regulations, or legal operations is a plus.
