We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Security Guard to join our team at a manufacturing facility near Red Deer, Alberta.

Location: Industrial manufacturing facility approximately 20 minutes outside Red Deer, Alberta
Pay: $20.18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 4 Days On / 4 Days Off | Rotating Days & Nights (12-hour shifts)
Requirements
Applicants must have:
Valid Alberta Security Services Worker License
Minimum 1 year of industrial security experience
Valid Class 5 Driver's License with no more than 6 demerit points
Standard First Aid with CPR (Required)
CSTS certification
Ability to work a 4-on / 4-off rotating shift schedule
Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
Eligibility to work in Canada
Strong communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills
About the Position
Backwoods Security Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Industrial Security Guard to join our team at a manufacturing facility located approximately 20 minutes outside Red Deer, Alberta.
The successful candidate will maintain a safe and secure work environment through patrols, access control, incident response, CCTV monitoring, and enforcement of site policies while providing professional customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors.
Responsibilities
Conduct interior and exterior security patrols.
Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems.
Control access to the site and verify authorized personnel.
Respond to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
Complete Daily Occurrence Reports (DORs), Incident Reports (IRs), and Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHAs).
Report hazards, suspicious activity, and policy violations.
Direct vehicle traffic as required.
Inspect buildings, gates, fencing, and equipment.
Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns.
Maintain detailed documentation and shift logs.
Follow all site safety procedures and client policies.
Work independently and as part of a professional security team.
