Banco Sabadell is seeking a Corporate Lending Analyst candidate to join a dynamic team within one of the fastest growing banks in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Credit proposal preparation: Conducts a variety of tasks related to analysis and preparation of credit proposal submissions.

• Spread and/or analyse financial statements of potential and existing customers, utilizing the bank’s accepted analytical credit criteria.

• Coordinate the preparation of collateral and loan documentation.

• Focuses on Spanish clients and executes transactions.

• Accompany Bankers/Relationship Managers on meetings with potential clients in search of new business opportunities to gain knowledge and experience in selling, customer service and information gathering for Credit Proposal preparation.

• Act as secondary contact or back-up for Corporate Banking clients and prospects in the event that Bankers/Relationship Managers are not available

Requirements

• College degree from a top-tier US institution and/or 2-4 years equivalent financial services experience, preferably in a bank setting or loan support environment.

• Fluent in English and Spanish.

• Understanding of appropriate accounting and lending concepts, principals and business practices.

• Well developed accounting background and skills with good attention to details.

• Working knowledge of company lending policy/regulations, loan documentation, credit/financial analysis techniques, underwriting functions, etc.

• Analytical skills and general banking and customer relationship skills.

• Well developed problem solving and verbal/written communication skills.

• Ability to work well with other lending personnel, support staff, challenging customer situation and problem accounts.
