About the Organization
EveryPet (formerly known as First Coast No More Homeless Pets) is a nonprofit organization that provides affordable, accessible veterinary care from two state-of-the-art facilities, including one of the largest spay/neuter clinics in the country. We support a team of 20 dedicated veterinarians that care for more than 65,000 pets each year throughout northeast Florida and in underserved Jacksonville neighborhoods, additionally we perform more than 20,000 spay/neuter surgeries each year.Title of the position

Key areas of responsibility
- Accounts Receivable / Daily Cash
- Print out financial summary reports, and balance cash deposits to reported cash.
- Communicate with customer service team about corrections needed in veterinary software.
- Prepare cash and check deposits.
- Organize deposit slips and reports.
- Provides change to CSRs.
- Collects mail, logs checks and disburses to appropriate parties.
- Enter payments into Pulse and Varidi.
- Reconciles Varidi, Scratchpay, Stripe and sends to appropriate parties.
- Enters Accounts Receivable payments into Quickbooks.
- Daily cash counting and cash deposits, other duties include supporting the accounting department including routine clerical and general accounting tasks such as maintaining financial records, processing invoices and payments, and assisting with reconciliations and reporting.
- Helps and supports other Accounting Assistant with A/P , Controller and CFO.
- QuickBooks experience regarding accounts receivable / payable.
- Good organizational skills.
- Experience working in Excel.
- Attention to detail.
