Summary of the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly motivated, and data-driven Business Analyst to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in collecting, processing, and analyzing data to drive business insights and support strategic decision-making. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with large datasets, develop analytical solutions, and collaborate across departments to enhance business performance.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and process data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Assist in automating data collection, transformation, and reporting processes.
• Develop and maintain operational and financial dashboards, reports, and KPI analyses.
• Perform variance analysis and provide data-driven recommendations for decision-making.
• Research and resolve ad hoc reporting requests and conduct special projects as needed.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
• Support data governance efforts by ensuring data consistency, compliance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define reporting needs and business metrics.
• Utilize data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present insights effectively.

Job Requirements and Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in analytics, finance, or operations preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including data manipulation and visualization.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and SQL is preferred.
• Understanding of relational databases, ETL processes, and data governance best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with a desire to continuously learn and apply new analytical techniques.
