Position Overview

• Job Title: Warehouse Associate/ Order Picker (Night Shift)
• Company: MMK Logistics
• Location: Elgin, IL
• Schedule: Full-Time | Approx. 4 Days a Week (8:00 PM – 6:00 AM / 10-12 hour shifts)
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 / Hour (Plus overtime for hours worked over 40 per week)

Job Summary

Are you looking for a physically engaging role with a consistent schedule and great pay? MMK Logistics is hiring Night Shift Warehouse Associates/ Order Pickers. This is a very labor-intensive, high-energy position. You will be on your feet for 10 to 12 hours a night, utilizing a physical order sheet to accurately track, pick, and restack heavy cases of product to build pallets for morning deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Case Picking & Order Tracking: Review printed order sheets to identify, locate, and physically pick product cases throughout the warehouse.
• Pallet Building & Restacking: Heavy lifting, manual breakdown, and restacking of cases during the picking process to optimize pallet space and ensure secure loads.
• Productivity Targets: Maintain efficiency and accuracy standard tracking goals (target pick rate of 150 items per hour / load rate of 230 items per hour).
• Inventory Care & Policy Adherence: Safely slice pallet wrap and follow the company’s Breakage Policy to minimize product damage and ensure accurate handling.
• Equipment Operation: Safely utilize warehouse equipment (such as electric pallet jacks or forklifts) to transport inventory across the floor.
• Will Call Support: Separate and organize specialized customer "will call" orders for seamless morning pickups.
• Warehouse Cleanliness: Keep the aisles clear and safe by continuously removing garbage, cardboard, and discarded pallet wrap.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

• Location: Must live in or near the Elgin, IL area with reliable transportation for night shift hours.
• Physical Stamina: This is an intense physical role. You must be able to stand, bend, twist, and lift heavy cases continuously for a 10-to-12 hour shift.
• Experience: Previous warehouse, fulfillment, case-picking, or manufacturing experience is a plus, but a strong work ethic is our priority.
• Technical Aptitude: Comfort using or learning the Encompass™ Beverage Management Operating System and basic inventory tracking.
• Team Player: Ability to take direction well from the Pick Team Lead and Night Shift Warehouse Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs continuously throughout the night.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for the entirety of a 10-to-12 hour shift.
• Comfort working in varying warehouse temperature zones.
