Job Description

Part-time or Full-time | Elephant & Castle, London

Milli Group is the entertainment company behind The Queer Comedy Club, Betty & Joan’s, Billy’s Room, Milli Productions and a growing portfolio of live events, festivals, nightlife brands and original productions.

From sold out comedy shows and club nights to TV pilots, fringe festivals and queer cultural events, we create bold LGBTQ+ experiences for audiences across London and beyond.

We’re looking for a Social Media & Content Executive to help bring our brands to life online.

This is not a “post three times a week and schedule a Canva graphic” role. We’re looking for someone creative, fast-moving, culturally switched on and genuinely excited by entertainment, comedy, nightlife and queer culture.

You’ll be helping shape the voice of multiple brands - creating content that sells tickets, builds community and makes people want to be part of what we do. Please note that at the start this job will not involve working with The Queer Comedy Club brand.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing and scheduling content across multiple brands and platforms

  • Creating Instagram, TikTok and short-form video content

  • Writing captions, campaign copy and marketing messaging

  • Covering live events, comedy shows and club nights

  • Working with performers and guests to capture content

  • Helping launch new shows, events and projects

  • Supporting wider marketing campaigns and audience growth

  • Spotting trends and turning them into content quickly

  • Maintaining a consistent but distinct voice across different brands

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has strong social media instincts and understands what actually performs online

  • Is confident filming and editing short-form content

  • Can write funny, sharp and engaging copy

  • Is highly organised and can juggle multiple projects at once

  • Is proactive and doesn’t wait to be micromanaged

  • Understands queer culture, nightlife and entertainment

  • Is excited by live events

  • Can work some evenings and weekends when needed for event coverage

Bonus points if you:

  • Have experience working in hospitality, entertainment or live events

  • Have basic design skills

  • Understand paid social and ticket-selling campaigns

  • Already spend too much time on TikTok

The role

  • Based in Elephant & Castle, London

  • Flexible structure depending on the right candidate

  • Mixture of office-based, on-site event work and home based

  • Part-time or full-time considered

  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding entertainment company
