This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Territory Manager based in the United States.
This field-based sales role is responsible for growing an established territory across the greater Portland/Vancouver market.
You’ll build trusted relationships with plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.
The role combines account development, customer education, territory planning, and consultative selling.
You’ll identify opportunities to increase product adoption, strengthen partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
Working closely with regional and cross-functional teams, you’ll bring customer insights and market intelligence back into the business.
This is an independent, customer-facing position suited to someone who enjoys being on the road and building long-term relationships.

- Build and strengthen long-term relationships with plumbing wholesalers, distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals across the assigned territory.
- Grow an established customer base by identifying opportunities to expand product adoption, increase sales, and deepen customer partnerships.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with annual revenue objectives and long-term growth strategies.
- Present merchandising, marketing, promotional, and product programs that create customer value and strengthen market presence.
- Provide responsive, high-quality customer service through regular account visits, proactive communication, and timely follow-up.
- Educate customers through product demonstrations, presentations, training sessions, trade shows, and industry events.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers, Strategic Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and regional leadership on wholesale and builder initiatives.
- Maintain regular communication with key accounts to monitor satisfaction, resolve concerns, and uncover new opportunities.
- Use CRM systems and established sales processes to manage account relationships, territory activity, opportunities, and follow-up effectively.
- Share customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and market trends with internal teams to inform product and commercial strategies.
- Represent the brand with professionalism, integrity, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to an exceptional customer experience.
- Manage territory travel, scheduling, and administrative responsibilities while maintaining focus on business and customer objectives.
- 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably within plumbing, building materials, construction products, or a related industry.
- Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with wholesalers, distributors, plumbers, builders, contractors, or other channel partners.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility across diverse customer groups.
- Experience presenting products, delivering customer training, and supporting sales or marketing initiatives.
- Ability to work independently, manage a geographic territory effectively, prioritize activities, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems is preferred.
- Experience selling plumbing products, faucets, fixtures, building materials, or related products is preferred.
- Experience working with plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, builders, contractors, kitchen and bath dealers, or other trade professionals is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Must reside within the greater Portland/Vancouver area and be able to support a territory extending north to Olympia, Washington, south to Salem, Oregon, and east to the Idaho border.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, primarily by vehicle, including approximately 2–3 overnight trips per month.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to build trust while working independently in a field-based environment.
- Base salary range of $55,000–$88,000 USD, with actual compensation determined by experience, education, professional achievements, business needs, and location.
