Description:

Position Summary: The Technical Consultant is a crucial player in our customer-facing technical support team. This individual possesses robust knowledge of hardware, software, and networking, and is expected to showcase professionalism, dependability, and resourcefulness. The ideal candidate is eager to take on challenges and dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

Reports to: General Manager

Commitment: Full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with required travel and overtime as business needs arise.

Compensation: Non-exempt position with a starting wage aligned with Seattle’s current minimum wage.

Benefits: Medical, dental, life insurance, 401K, paid time off.

Work Environment: A fast-paced, event-driven setting with on-site work at client-designated locations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain and update knowledge of current technologies through continual research and training.

Work collaboratively with the technical lead and project manager on various events as assigned.

Provide top-tier technical support for executives and highly technical clients.

Install and configure technical equipment and systems required for each event.

Continually develop leadership and technical skills through self-motivation.

Uphold and promote professional standards of conduct both in the office and on show-site.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications: The Technical Consultant requires a combination of technical support and customer service.

  • Strong technical expertise with solid knowledge of hardware, software, and networking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Physically able to walk long distances, lift and move up to 20 lbs., and work in a show-site environment.
