Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional candidate to fill the Accounts Payable Specialist position at our Corporate Office in Kent, WA. We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical individual who also has a high level of motivation and responsibility.

This is a hybrid remote position! Up to two days per week can be spent working from home after your training is complete.

Accounts Payable Specialist starting at $24.00-$26.00/hour depending on experience.

Accounts Payable Specialist Basic Duties:

• Audit and review AP invoices for approval
• Use AI and ERP systems to approve AP invoices for payment
• Analyze discrepancies to reconcile invoices to purchase orders
• Work through assigned queues for weekly check runs
• Apply freight to sales orders and approve freight vendor invoices
• Maintain relationships with vendors

Accounts Payable Specialist Desired Experience/Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
• Has a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with financial management software
• Punctual & dependable
• At least 2 years related work experience desired
• Accounting or Math degree a plus
• General Ledger experience a plus

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Pass Background Check
