Position Summary
The Field Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily field operations and managing assigned locations while leading traffic control crews on active job sites. This role ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards, MUTCD guidelines, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
Field Operations & Execution
- Supervise and lead traffic control crews during daily operations
- Ensure proper setup, maintenance, and removal of traffic control devices
- Conduct job site inspections and ensure compliance
Crew Leadership & Development
- Supervise Crew Leaders and Technicians
- Assign tasks and manage schedules
- Train and mentor team members
Safety & Compliance
- Enforce OSHA and company policies
- Conduct safety meetings and ensure PPE use
- Monitor safety systems and report incidents
Communication & Coordination
- Act as main field contact
- Communicate with management and clients
Administrative Duties
- Track hours, billing, and documentation
- Submit reports and work tickets
Equipment Management
- Maintain equipment and vehicles
- Report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass screenings
Work Environment
- Outdoor, physical, traffic-exposed environments
