Outpatient Therapist - Clinic
Job Summary
Counsels individuals and groups in an outpatient setting to promote optimum mental health. Assists individuals deal with thoughts of suicide; addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and other issues associated with mental and emotional health.
Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
Experience:
- Preferred
- Two or more years working in an outpatient mental health setting
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Clinical License: LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LPA (with Independent Licensure) issued by the Texas State Board
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
- SAFE Approach Level III
- Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
