Social Media/Marketing Assistant in Fort Myers, Florida at Fort Myers Mighty Mussels

We are seeking part-time seasonal Social Media and Marketing Assistant for the 2027 season (approximately February to August). This role supports marketing initiatives and digital outreach efforts throughout the season by creating, coordinating, and publishing engaging content across social media platforms and other promotional channels.

Responsibilities include developing social media posts, capturing, editing, and sharing photos and videos, promoting games, events, and special activities, monitoring audience engagement, responding to comments and messages, and helping maintain a consistent brand presence. Additional duties include assisting with marketing campaigns, preparing promotional materials, coordinating content schedules, tracking social media performance, and supporting community outreach and other marketing-related activities as needed.

The ideal candidate is creative, dependable, detail-oriented, and familiar with social media platforms and digital content creation, with strong written communication skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, seasonal environment. Availability to work select evenings, weekends, and game days may be required.
