Job Description
Business Development Representative — Vendor Sales
About the role
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Business Development Representative to join our team as a dedicated vendor-facing sales professional. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing relationships with technology vendors and partners in the MSP ecosystem. You understand how the channel works, know how vendors operate, and can speak the language of co-selling, MDF, and partner programs.
What you'll do
Prospect and develop relationships with technology vendors and channel partners in the MSP space
Serve as the primary point of contact between our organization and vendor partners
Identify co-selling opportunities and collaborate with vendor partner teams to drive mutual pipeline
Leverage vendor programs, MDF funds, and partner resources to maximize revenue opportunities
Manage and grow a portfolio of vendor relationships from initial outreach through ongoing engagement
Collaborate with internal teams to align vendor initiatives with company goals
Track vendor pipeline activity, partner program status, and performance metrics in CRM
Attend vendor events, partner summits, and industry conferences as needed
What we're looking for
1–3 years of experience working with technology vendors or channel partners in the MSP industry
Familiarity with vendor organizations or similar MSP ecosystem vendors
Understanding of channel sales motions including partner programs, MDF, co-selling, and deal registration
Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you can engage confidently at all levels
Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships simultaneously
Experience with CRM tools for tracking activity and pipeline
Passion for the MSP space and genuine curiosity about the technology partner ecosystem
Compensation & benefits
Base salary- $50K–$65K
OTE — at plan $95K–$110K
OTE — above plan $123K–$135K
