Funnel Marketing Manager

Are you a strategic funnel marketing leader with 8+ years of experience who can own a marketing campaign from the very first ad impression through to a closed sale? Your Impact as Funnel Marketing Manager

You will be the single point of accountability for our entire digital marketing funnel. This is true full funnel ownership: you build the ads, place them across the right channels, design and test landing pages, capture leads, and nurture every prospect from first touch all the way to a closed Vantagepoint software customer.

Once a lead is captured, your nurture engine takes over. You will hand qualified leads to the sales team and stay engaged through the entire sales process. If the sales team can't reach a lead, you re-engage them with automated and creative outreach until contact is made. If the sales team makes contact but the prospect doesn't buy, you don't let them go. You continue nurturing and nudging that prospect, driving them back into a buying conversation, whether that means registering for a webinar or booking a 1 on 1 consultation that gets a salesperson back on the phone with the prospect to close them as a Vantagepoint software customer.

Right now these responsibilities are distributed across multiple people with no single owner. You will change that, with GoHighLevel as your operating system, a relentless testing mindset as your default operating mode, and the entire customer journey as your playground.

Channel Strategy & Rollout

You will lead a phased channel expansion strategy that starts with our highest leverage paid platforms and expands deliberately into new sources of qualified leads:

Phase 1, Facebook: Build, place, and optimize lead generation campaigns on Facebook as the launch channel.Phase 2,YouTubeand Google: Expand lead generation onto YouTube (video) and Google (search and display) once Facebook is producing predictable results.Phase 3,additionalad networks: Layer in additional paid networks where our target demographic spends time.Phase 4, alternative lead sources: Expand beyond traditional ad networks into channels where our target demographic can be found, including investment newsletters, financial publications, partnerships, sponsorships, affiliate placements, and other non-traditional lead sources. Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and operationalize these placements as part of an ongoing diversification of our lead supply.Always exploring what’s next: Stay alert to emerging platforms, new ad networks, and unconventional lead sources. Bring forward new opportunities and test them when the math supports it.

The Funnel You Will Own (End to End)

Ad creation and testing: Build ad creative across formats (static, video, carousel, etc.) and run continuous A/B and multivariate testing on hooks, copy, visuals, audiences, and offers to drive down cost per lead and drive up lead quality.Ad placement and channel management: Place ads across the right networks at the right time, with full ownership of targeting, budget allocation, and performance optimization.Landing page creation and testing: Design, launch, and continuously test high converting landing pages and funnels in GoHighLevel. Test headlines, layouts, copy, CTAs, form fields, video vs. static, and every other variable that moves conversion rate.Lead capture and qualification: Capture leads cleanly into GoHighLevel with proper tagging, source attribution, and routing logic.Email and SMS nurture sequences with continuous testing: Build and operate multi step email and SMS nurture sequences inside GoHighLevel, then test subject lines, send times, message length, tone, sequence cadence, and offer angles to maximize sales contact rates and conversion rates.Re-engagement when sales can't connect: When the sales team is unable to reach a lead, deploy creative re-engagement sequences (multi channel, multi touch) until contact is made or the lead is properly disqualified.Re-nurture after a no-sale call: When sales reaches a prospect but the prospect doesn't buy, the prospect goes back into along term nurture loop designed to drive them to the next conversion event.Conversion event drivers: Use webinars and 1 on 1 consultations as your primary high intent conversion events. Build the campaigns, automations, and reminder sequences that get prospects registered, attending, and showing up so the sales team can close them as Vantagepoint software customers.

Performance Optimization & Testing

Operate with a relentless testing mindset: every ad, every lander, every email, every SMS, every sequence, and every channel is always under test.Monitor every stage of the funnel in real time and make data driven adjustments to improve conversion at each step.Conduct continuous A/B and multivariate testing on ads, landing pages, email and SMS sequences ,webinar invitations, and consultation booking flows.Troubleshoot underperforming funnel elements and implement rapid improvements.Leverage GoHighLevel reporting and dashboards to track funnel performance, attribution, pipeline movement, conversion event attendance, and revenue.Report results to leadership with clear, data driven recommendations on where to invest, where to pull back, and where to test next.

Sales Coordination & Lead Lifecycle Management

Own the lead handoff to the sales team through GoHighLevel pipelines and automations, ensuring leads arrive properly qualified and with full context.Build feedback loops with sales to know which leads were reached, which weren't, which converted, and which didn't, then trigger the right follow on marketing for each scenario.Design and operate the re-engagement workflows that bring unreachable leads back into contact and the re-nurture workflows that bring no-sale prospects back into the buying conversation.Coordinate regularly with Sales Leadership to align messaging, lead flow, and conversion strategies.Drive prospects to webinars and 1 on 1 consultations as the high intent conversion events that put them back in front of a salesperson.

Reporting & Asset Ownership

Report directly to the Director of Marketing.Independently create all marketing assets top to bottom, including ad creative, copy, landing pages, emails, SMS, automations, and reporting deliverables. This is a self sufficient build and ship role for a one man army who can own the entire funnel without handing pieces off to other people.Align funnel strategies to broader sales and marketing objectives.Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure cohesive funnel execution across all initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table

Required Experience & Expertise

GoHighLevel certified expert (REQUIRED).Active GoHighLevel certification with deep, demonstrable expertise across the entire platform: funnels, websites, landing pages, workflows and automations, CRM and pipelines, email marketing, SMS marketing, calendars, memberships, reporting, and integrations. Candidates without GoHighLevel certification and hands on expert level experience will not be considered.8+ years designing and implementing comprehensive funnel marketing campaigns with full funnel ownership.5+ years managing paid digital advertising campaigns across multiple channels, including hands on expertise with Facebook (Meta), YouTube, and Google Ads.Demonstrated experience building and operating long term lead nurture and re-engagement programs that drive to high intent conversion events (webinars, consultations, demos, etc.).Proven track record of continuous A/B and multivariate testing across ads, landing pages, and nurture sequences with documented improvement in conversion metrics over time.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Hard Skills

Expert level GoHighLevel proficiency. Ability to architect and operate complex multi step funnels, build sophisticated automation workflows with conditional logic, manage CRM data and pipeline stages, design and execute email/SMS campaigns, configure integrations and webhooks, build custom reporting, and operate the platform as a primary marketing system of record.Proven track record creating and executing successful multi channel funnel campaigns from ad to closed sale.Expert knowledge of Facebook (Meta), YouTube, and Google Ads platforms including campaign structure, audience targeting, creative testing, and budget optimization.Experience sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and operationalizing non-traditional lead channels such as investment newsletters, financial publications, sponsored placements, and affiliate or partnership relationships.Strong sales psychology with deep focus on conversion, re-engagement, and revenue generation.Proficiency in digital analytics and reporting tools (Google Analytics, ad platform dashboards, GoHighLevel reporting).Strong project management expertise to coordinate multiple campaigns and stakeholders simultaneously.Baseline understanding of the finance or fintech landscape.
