Position Summary

Shop Fix Academy is looking for an experienced Client Accounts Specialist who tiptoes along the lines of bookkeeping to join our team. Shop Fix Academy has several sub-entities, allowing you the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in various areas. Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the main point of contact for members, addressing inquiries and resolving issues or concerns.

  • Communicate with members via email and phone regarding billing questions, payment updates, account changes, and subscription status.

  • Process credit card chargebacks applicable to clients' memberships.

  • Communicate via email with vendors regarding conference sponsorships.

  • Contact members regarding past-due payments.

  • Update accounts receivable records for sponsorships and subscriptions.

  • Streamline communications between the Controller and Shop Fix leadership.

  • Assist the Controller when necessary.

  • Collaborate with departments to gather necessary documentation.

  • Maintain an "All Hands on Deck" mindset - work as a team and step in to help wherever needed.

  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.

Experience: 2 or more years of experience in a related role.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with QuickBooks highly preferred.

  • Experience with Stripe, ChargeOver, WordPress, Authorize.Net, and Basecamp preferred.

Bonus Skills:

  • Ability to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and/or discrepancies.

  • Experience working in a multi-entity or subscription-based billing environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $24-$30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Schedule & Location

8-hour shift, Monday–Friday. Full-time, in-office at Shop Fix Academy in Franklin, TN.
