Presales Engineer -BFSI - ML/AI

As a key technical advisor during the sales cycle, you will collaborate closely with customers to design impactful AI/ML and analytics-driven solutions tailored to complex business challenges. The position combines strategic consulting, technical solution architecture, and customer engagement in a highly collaborative and fast-evolving environment. You will help organizations modernize operations through cutting-edge technologies including low-code platforms, data analytics, graph technologies, and intelligent automation. Accountabilities:
  • Partner with sales teams and customer stakeholders to lead discovery sessions, assess business challenges, and identify opportunities for AI/ML, analytics, and low-code transformation initiatives.
  • Design and present end-to-end technical solutions that align with customer objectives, leveraging technologies related to application development, data analytics, graph databases, AI, and machine learning.
  • Deliver compelling technical demonstrations, workshops, and Proofs of Concept (POCs) that clearly communicate the value and capabilities of proposed solutions.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales lifecycle, supporting customers, partners, and internal teams with technical expertise and strategic guidance.
  • Contribute technical input to RFPs, RFIs, proposals, and solution documentation to ensure recommendations are innovative, scalable, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with technical champions, executive stakeholders, and business leaders while guiding organizations through digital transformation and AI adoption journeys.
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive solutions within the BFSI and broader enterprise technology landscape.
  • Collaborate with professional services, product, and sales teams to provide market feedback, share best practices, and support successful solution delivery.
  • Represent the organization at conferences, webinars, and industry events as a thought leader in AI/ML, analytics, low-code development, and enterprise innovation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in presales, solution engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles focused on AI/ML, data analytics, Big Data, or enterprise technology platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance industries, including digital transformation initiatives, compliance requirements, and operational challenges.
  • Experience working with modern analytics, AI, and graph technology platforms such as Dataiku, Alteryx, Neo4j, TigerGraph, Amazon Neptune, or similar technologies.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, as well as enterprise deployment strategies and integration architectures.
  • Familiarity with APIs, REST services, message queues, software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and enterprise application integration concepts.
  • Hands-on knowledge of machine learning workflows, data mining, analytics, graph technologies, and AI-driven solution design.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proven track record of translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.
  • Ability to build trusted customer relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or another related technical field.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is considered a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as Challenger or MEDDPICC is a plus.
  • Advanced degrees, technical certifications, or prior experience with low-code and AI platforms are highly valued.
