Supervisor Purchasing at Crouse Hospital – Syracuse, New York

The Supervisor is responsible for overseeing procurement of all supplies, equipment and services by coordinating the purchasing functions throughout the hospital. Leadership duties include overseeing the buyers, developing goals and objectives, establishing and implementing policies and procedures for departmental operations, defining standards of performance and productivity, monitoring departmental activities and initiating changes to improve services.

Associates degree in a business related field required. Will consider experience in lieu of degree

experience:

• Required: 3-5 years of previous buyer/manager with leadership experience required.
• Preferred: Experience in a healthcare environment preferred
• special skills/equipment: Experience using a computerized purchasing tracking system required.
