Job Description

Job Summary

The Administrative Support Specialist provides the client with administrative support to the OCFO in the management of the E-Travel system (ETS2) used at DOE.

Essential Functions

  • Coordinate information dissemination to all levels of the travel user group community regarding the E-Travel System
  • Ensure travel software support and training is provided to DOE user community in the broadest scope via use of web-based reference guides, web and video conferences, organization briefings, direct training or and assistance to DOE travel support and administrators
  • Ensure help desk support is operating effectively through phone, mailbox, and Service Now coverage and documentation, and coordination with Office OCIO Tier 3 personnel as required
  • Coordinate and provide access to archived travel documents
  • Coordinate and implement actions related to migration of software system/platform changes
  • Document technical information and training materials
  • Provide monthly reports of help desk activity for the E-Travel system. Provide bi-weekly task activity reports
  • Perform testing and verification of accessibility (but not functionality) to E-Travel and other intra-functional DOE and ETS2 vendor systems
  • Coordinate with other technical support and administrators I CFO to provide access and support of all assigned web or database functions
  • Verify consistency of standard and professional display of web applications and content
  • Participate in DOE and Federal Agency-wide E-Travel and travel-related meetings
  • Provide other general technical assistance and other duties as assigned

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years’ experience providing administrative, business and/or financial support OR a high school diploma with at least ten (10) years’ experience providing administrative, business and/or financial support

Experience:

  • Experience and familiarity with Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
  • Experience with Concur
  • Must be detail-oriented and have strong organizational skills
