Litigation Assistant - Personal Injury at WEST COAST TRIAL LAWYERS APLC – Los Angeles, California

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Assistant with at least 1 year of personal injury experience in a legal setting. This role will support attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks, including drafting documents, coordinating case deadlines, and maintaining organized case files.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular updates to clients and maintain accurate case documentation
• Draft and proofread pleadings and legal correspondence under attorney supervision
• Prepare and track discovery requests, subpoenas, and related deadlines
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and supporting materials
• Schedule hearings, depositions, and other litigation-related events
• Assist in gathering and reviewing records, evidence, and case materials
• Support case preparation for depositions, mediations, and trial
• Perform general administrative tasks such as calendar management and coordination with clients or third parties

• 1+ year of experience in personal injury or litigation within a legal environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Familiarity with legal practice management software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or similar platforms) preferred

Hourly Range: $25.00-$30.00
