Front Office Specialist at Columbus Regional Health – Columbus, Indiana

What you need to know about this position:

• Neurology and Sleep Sciences is a Specialty Care office with 5 Providers, 12 exam rooms, 2 EMG rooms and sees an average of 60-75 patients per day.
• This position provides leadership support to medical practice, in addition to performing all front office medical receptionist duties. This position does not provide direct patient care.
• The Front Office Specialist position has a base hourly rate of $16.00. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This position will require you to work primarily 7:30am-4:00pm; Monday through Friday.

What is required for this position:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

Physical Demands:

• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; must frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
