SUMMARY

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations across multiple departments within our warehouse. This is a cross-trained leadership role, requiring a hands-on, proactive leader who can support various functions, including Receiving, Putaway, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Inventory Control, and Replenishment. The Supervisor plays a key role in team development, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and equipment use, including Raymond Reach Trucks, Order Pickers, Forklifts, and Electric Pallet Jacks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervises and coordinates the activities of warehouse staff across all departments.

· Creates daily task assignments and shift schedules, adjusting to workload needs.

· Trains and cross-trains team members in key functional areas, including forklift operation.

· Conducts timely performance evaluations and coaching sessions.

· Monitors, maintains, and adjusts inventory levels based on replenishment needs.

· Oversees receiving, inspection, Putaway, and storage of inbound products.

· Ensures proper order fulfillment, staging, and accurate outbound shipment.

· Conducts physical inventory counts and reconciles discrepancies.

· Enforces company policies on safety, operations, and warehouse standards.

· Identifies process improvements and collaborates with management to implement solutions.

· Resolves routine equipment issues and escalates maintenance needs.

· Prepares reports and updates for Operations leadership as needed.

· Maintains OSHA and company compliance at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School Diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics training is a plus.

· 3+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center.

· Proven ability to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.

· Cross-departmental experience preferred (Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, Inventory).

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift.

· Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

· Forklift Certification and experience as a certified Trainer preferred.

· OSHA Certification is a plus.

· Proficient with WMS, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office.
