HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT IN THIS ROLE?

As a Safety Monitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure and supportive environment for clients residing in our residential housing facility. You will oversee the safety of the facility and ensure that program procedures are consistently implemented to protect both clients and staff.

In this role, you will monitor activities within the facility, maintain accurate documentation and reports, and help ensure compliance with safety protocols and program requirements. You will contribute to a work environment that promotes safety, clear communication, teamwork, and professionalism.

You will also collaborate with other departments to help provide a comprehensive continuum of services to clients, ensuring their well-being and stability while they are in the program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent education and 1-year related employment experience.
  • Preferred 3 years of relevant experience in security.
  • Ability to obtain fingerprint clearance card, CPR, CPI and First Aid Certifications.
  • Bilingual language skills in English/Spanish and as appropriate to population served required.
  • Cleared background check from appropriate entity.
  • Cleared drug test results.
  • Training, education and experience in community outreach, public health or social work preferred.
