Job Description
Position Summary
Provides general clerical, statistical and secretarial duties for the Radiation Oncology department. Work responsibilities include all aspects related to registration and scheduling including but not limited to: entering charges, insurance authorizations, referrals and training. Coordinates the daily operation between the technical/nursing staff, patients and medical staff.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent Work Experience
• 2-4 years experience in Medical Oncology office setting
• Previous supersivory experience preferred
• Oncology EMR experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Ability to lift, push, pull
• Ability to walk/stand for extended period of times
• Intermediate Computer/Keyboard/Word Processing Skills
• Strong Interpersonal/Communication/Organizational Skills
• Detail Oriented/Must be able to work independently
• Knowledge of sterile technique preferred
