About the role
- We are looking for a Controller to support the management team by overseeing accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls and process improvements. Our ideal candidate will provide insightful analysis and recommendations for the high growth business.
What you'll do
Own the timely completion of Monthly, Quarterly, and Year-End Financial Close, including detailed analysis and reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and preparation of financial statements in compliance with Audit
Partner with department heads to manage team budgets, identify areas to allocate spend, and provide data and insights to make effective decisions
Lead team of accounting staff, including AR and AP, to manage general ledger, tax, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and the annual audit
Provide vision for scaling financial infrastructure and accounting team to grow with the business - lead implementation of ERP
Monitor and further develop operational policies and internal systems
Manage treasury functions
Liaison for all strategic tax and tax compliance outsourced functions
Facilitate in preparation of budgets, cash flow forecasts, and other management reports
Work on ad-hoc financial analysis projects to support company initiatives
Qualifications
- Curiosity, empathy, and a passion for our mission and values
Experience owning accounting policies and procedures for a growth-stage company
Experience with NetSuite or Microsoft Dynamics and prior implementation experience
Experience leading a team through a financial audit
Ability to effectively organize and manage workload and demonstrate flexibility in managing multiple priorities while adhering to deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and to build strong working relationships
2+ years in a Financial Controller role preferred
CPA certification or MBA degree preferred
Strong analytical and Excel skills

The pay range for this role is:
140,000 - 170,000 USD per year(Remote - United States)
