Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant for our CMH Orthopedic & Spine clinic!

This specialty clinic provides top teir orthopedic services, surgical and nonsurgical options and Orthopedic Walk-in availability!

A typical day as a CMA will include:being an integral piece of the healthcare team working with Physicians, Physician Assistants, other RN’s, LPN’s, Registered and Certified Medical Assistants. The RN is responsible for the intake of patient reason for their visit, medication reconciliation, and verification of patient medical/family/social/surgical history, assessment of patients, assisting providers with in-office procedures, providing education for patients and/or caregivers, providing phone triage, promoting preventative measures to optimize the patient and assisting with coordination of care. The CMA/RMA obtains pre-certification from insurance companies requiring a pre-cert on in clinic procedures.
