Screen Printer in Springfield, Ohio at CYFAH LLC

CYFAH LLC dba Woodrow is seeking an experienced Screen Printer. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of high-end printing equipment.

Equipment & Technical Mastery
● Precision Industrial Printing: Perform advanced setup and calibration for flatbed screen printing on polymer substrates (polycarbonate/polyester) for industrial overlays. Digital, and Large Format systems experience is a plus.
● Registration & Multi-Pass Mastery: Maintain "dead-on" registration for multi-color, sub-surface prints and specialized coatings (e.g., textures or conductive inks).
● Advanced Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving ink adhesion failures, static interference, or mechanical drift on high-tolerance digital and screen equipment.
● Maintenance Oversight: Execute routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime; coordinate with external vendors for major repairs.
● Substrate Expertise: Apply deep knowledge of ink chemistry and tension requirements across various polymer substrates.

Qualifications
● Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in a professional printing environment
● Technical Skills: Deep understanding of color theory, prepress requirements, and polymer substrate characteristics.
● Screen Making (Required): Experience with screen tensioning, coating, imaging, and reclaiming is a significant plus.
● Problem Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and adjust press settings on the fly. Problem solving toolkit for solving production and business challenges is preferred- example Lean Manufacturing, etc.
● Detail Oriented: An uncompromising eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
● Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
