Associate Attorney in Nashville, Tennessee at McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking an attorney licensed AND residing in Tennessee to join its growing practice. The ideal applicant will be a career-oriented professional with at least three years of experience and a desire to represent or experience in representing creditors in foreclosures, evictions and/or title proceedings. Creditor-side bankruptcy experience is a plus, as is litigation experience. The applicant must have the ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, communicate professionally at all times, be effective working independently and as part of a team, and provide exceptional customer service. Leadership and management skills are strongly preferred.

Key Job Duties:

• Review of title abstracts and loan documents in preparation of noticing foreclosure sales.
• Legal research and writing.
• Written and oral communication with clients, outside counsel, and Court personnel, among others.
• Court appearances for motions, conferences, hearings, etc., as needed.

Minimum Job Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in Tennessee. Admitted to practice in other states is a plus.
• A positive, respectful, growth-oriented mentality.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to balance and prioritize a high volume workload.
