This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Partnerships, Litigation Support based in the United States.
This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity for an experienced legal services professional ready to build and lead a partnerships function from the ground up.
You’ll serve as a key connector between clients, litigation support teams, sales professionals, and internal stakeholders.
The role combines strategic relationship management with hands-on expertise across California eFiling, service of process, and broader litigation support services.
You’ll own client opportunities and escalations, strengthen retention, and ensure legal professionals receive a high-touch, highly responsive experience.
You’ll also lead demos, webinars, and training sessions while translating client feedback into improvements across the business.
As the first dedicated leader in this function, you’ll establish repeatable processes, develop the partnerships playbook, and eventually build a high-performing team around you.
This remote-first position offers significant autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape a growing function within a technology-driven legal services environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client opportunities, questions, and escalations originating from the litigation support function, owning resolution from initial contact through close.
- Act as the bridge between clients, litigation support teams, Account Executives, and Inside Sales, ensuring priorities remain aligned and opportunities progress efficiently.
- Build trusted, long-term client relationships through proactive, responsive, and consultative communication.
- Represent the full litigation support offering, including California eFiling, service of process, and related services, with strong subject-matter authority.
- Lead and co-facilitate client demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions for legal professionals ranging from paralegals and legal support staff to partners and firm leadership.
- Manage high-touch client onboarding from initial kickoff through active usage and ongoing support.
- Proactively identify at-risk accounts and develop action plans to strengthen engagement, retention, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to capture client feedback, identify recurring trends, and champion improvements that enhance the customer experience and NPS.
- Maintain accurate client, opportunity, and activity records within HubSpot and proprietary systems.
- Support new and existing business growth by tracking targets, monitoring KPIs, and maintaining accountability for commercial outcomes.
- Develop and document a repeatable, scalable customer success and partnerships playbook to support future organizational growth.
- Establish foundational processes, standards, and best practices for the partnerships function.
- Build and mentor a growing team as the function expands, fostering accountability, collaboration, and exceptional client service.
- 5+ years of experience in the legal services or litigation support industry, with a focus on customer success, account management, client services, or related functions.
- Direct, hands-on expertise in California eFiling and service of process, including jurisdictional rules, filing deadlines, rejection reasons, service logistics, and the practical nuances important to legal professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to confidently engage law firm leadership, including partners, managing partners, and office administrators, while also addressing detailed operational and technical questions from paralegals and legal support teams.
- Experience leading webinars, product demonstrations, training sessions, or educational presentations for legal professionals at different levels of seniority.
- Background selling or supporting the sale of litigation support services, with a strong understanding of the client lifecycle from prospecting through long-term account management.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone, messaging, and level of detail to different audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a natural ability to establish credibility and trust quickly and sustain those relationships over time.
- Experience using HubSpot, Zendesk, Slack, or comparable CRM, customer support, and collaboration platforms.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple client priorities, opportunities, and escalations simultaneously.
- Availability to work during Pacific Time (PT) business hours.

- Competitive total compensation: $110,000–$130,000 annually, including quarterly bonus opportunities.
